One of my best friends is getting married. And as much as I love her, we all know that once people get married they obtain amnesia, and forget that they ever knew you, or just forget your phone number. So, it appears as though there may be an opening for a best friend position in a couple of weeks, if anyone's interested. In other news, local airlines are augmenting their prices for this holiday season, and the prices aren't looking good. It would cost me about 500 dollars, in the minimum, to fly round trip from Utah to Florida. So, my dear roommate Rachel has agreed to make my dream come true, and finally have a road trip. Usually when I had thought about road trips, I considered somewhere closer as an option- like California or Vegas (not nerve... I know, that was a bad anatomy joke) but Florida works just as well, and even better! I'll get to spend two complete days in a car with my two dear sisters, Rachel and Judith Smith. I'm quite ecstatic about the entire situation, and can't wait to start singin' like Donkey, "on the road again, I just can't wait to get on the road again..."
This Halloween I went through a couple of different options for my costume, and finally settled on a pirate. I know, it's not unique, or even that cool, but when one finds a red and white striped vest at DI for $2, one must be a pirate. I was planning on being Harley Quinn, Joker's sidekick in the Batman cartoon/comic books. Displayed here:
In the end I decided against this costume because of the difficulty in making it. I should start now so that I can be Harley next year. Applications are now being accepted for the position of Joker.
